Medea was a play written by the Euripides. This play started when Jason and the Argonauts went to get a golden fleece from a king. The king said that they could only have it if Jason completed three impossible challenges. The kings daughter Medea said she would help Jason with these challenges if he would take her with him when they left. Jason agreed and eventually got the fleece and took Medea home with him and marries her. After a while Jason stops loving Medea and marries someone else. Medea becomes enraged and wants to get revenge by killing Jason’s new family. Because of this she is banished.
